THE CYPRUS CHAMBER OF COMMERCE & INDUSTRY IS ORGANIZING AN OPEN CALL FOR APPLICATIONS FOR FUNDING THE DEVELOPMENT AND IMPLEMENTATION OF CROWDFUNDING CAMPAIGNS

The Cyprus Chamber of Commerce & Industry announced an open call for applications for funding the development and implementation of crowdfunding campaigns for a total of three (3) business ideas in the Blue Economy under the ‘Blue Crowdfunding’ project. Deadline for receiving applications 12/02/2021.

GRANTS SCHEME FOR CROWDFUNDING CAMPAIGNS BY THE CCCI

  • Do you have an idea for the development of a Blue Economy product or service but do not have the necessary capital?
  • Would you like to launch a crowdfunding campaign to raise funds for the implementation of your blue economy business idea?

The Cyprus Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCCI), in the framework of its participation in the project ‘Blue Crowdfunding’ co-financed by the cross-border program Interreg MED 2014-2020 of the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF), announces an open call for applications for funding the development and implementation of crowdfunding campaigns for a total of three (3) business ideas in the Blue Economy.

The call concerns small and medium-sized enterprises, start-ups, social enterprises, NGOs, and new entrepreneurs in the Blue Economy sector (e.g. coastal & maritime tourism, maritime transport, yachts, aquaculture, marine renewable energy sources, etc.).

The grant will be given in the form of services provided by consultant experts in the preparation and development of a crowdfunding campaign, which depending on the maturity level of each business idea/project, these can range from preparation of a business plan, preparation of communication plan and marketing strategy, production of promotional material, including video, ready for posting on the crowdfunding platform, etc.

 

The deadline for applications is 12th February 2021, while all applications will be handled on a ‘first-come first-served’ basis.
