Different tools, same blue good vibes for this online event, 17-18/06/2020!
First chance to revise the work done in the first 6 months since the launch of the project.
This time, the BLUE CROWDFUNDING Consortium had to move their meeting to an online version, due to the COVID restrictions that impeded the physical attendance in Cyprus, as planned before.
Nonetheless, all participants were motivated and committed to make it a fruitful occasion to take a closer insight onto the project progress and its upcoming developments. In particular, different deliverables were announced and presented: the Risk and Mitigation Nuggets Infosheets (D.3.1.4) and the promo materials (poster and leaflets, D2.1.3) produced by PP7-ECN, as well as the Catalogue on Best Practices cured by PP4-GOTEO.
All these items will not only contribute to strengthen the project's identity, but will bring its messages and identity to the wider public. This, also thanks to the upcoming webinars (originally workshops) on the application of Crowdfunding to the Blue economy, that are planned at the premises of partners with business support role. To the extents of these information and education sessions, LP e-Zavod is coordinating the elaboration of the training materials to be used, based on former experience in Crowd-Fund-Port, and thanks to the in-field expertise of crowdfunding platforms PP3-CROWDPOLICY and PP4-GOTEO, as well as the crowdfunding network PP7-ECN.
On the second day, special attention has been paid to the management of the bureaucratic and managerial aspects of the implementation of the co-creation workshops for legal considerations for the Institutional partners (A3.4), which will create the framework conditions build civic crowdfunding and initiatives in these Regions.
BLUECF has not really stopped during this particular time and is more ready than ever to bring crowdfunding a reality for the blue economy!
